how long should it take for c diff to go away? i was on flagil or something like that for 24 days at 1500 mg a day. 4 days after the meds were done the diaherea came back with the mucus and yellow color. what should i do or have my doctors do?
My dad was mistreated for C.Diff for almost a year.

When you take Flagil or Vancomycin you need to replace the lost good
intestinal bacteria with Florastor (250/500mg) daily. Antibiotics, byt
nature, destroy good and bad bacteria. General probotics like Culterlle
are killed off by each new dose of Flagil ir Vancomycin. Florastor works
WITH these two to rebuild the intestinal flora.

Seek a doctor that TRULY understands C.Diff for what it is. Outdated
protocols are being used by doctors, and hospitals. A person with active
C.Diff is to be treated as a bio-hazard in the in transit, in the hospital, etc.

Highly contagious during the active period.

Personal hygiene has to be exceptional in washing hands with hot soap and
water. Clorox wipes help in the clean up of toilets, sinks, etc.

The spore from C.Diff can survive for many months on surfaces waiting for contact and then transfer to nose or mouth.

People are dying from this disease and it needs to be treated seriously.

Hospitals and nursing homes are convenient breeding grounds.
