In November of 08, an 150 pound sign fell on my head and dislocated those 4 vertebrates. I have massiv nerve damage and nerves that are pinched etc. My neck is always tense, my right shoulder is a knot and I have massive pain in my neck, shoulders, and right arm. My hand goes numb and I am dropping things, I cant drive with my right hand because it puts too much strain on my shoulder. I cant type for long without pain. I basically hurt to the point of being physically ill. I cant stand it anymore. I have no quality of life. After many visits to doctors, I now have a visit to a neurosurgeon on the 1st of July. I dont know what to expect and dont know where to look on the internet for answers. I cant describe to anyone really the pain that I am in everyday. I pray at night for God to make it stop or take me. I wont do anything like commit suicide but I am tired of the pain. I take 4 percocet 10's a day and muscle relaxers and I still cry myself to sleep almost every night. I am 28 years old and am just fed up with it all. Can anyone help me by giving me a place to look for information on what surgery they might do and what I can do now to stop it?
Hi, Which part of your spine has the damage? I had surgery for c5 and c6 prolapse with nerve and spinal cord compression.Might be able to help with info.
