Hi, my relative who is 60 years old started to act strangely in the last several months. He started to hear voices which were telling him what to do. Also he was talking to the people who weren't in the room. After I took him to the hospital doctor made him CT scan of head and told that he has brain tumor. Can tumor cause such schizophrenic symptoms?
Hi, brain tumors are very unpredictable and symptoms which they cause depend on the place where they are positioned in the brain. My friend also had brain tumor which caused similar symptoms and he was on psychiatry clinic for some time until they discovered that he has tumor. These tumors don't have to be maligned by their nature but they may cause pressure on brain structure which may give different symptoms.
