I have been on birth control pills (TRI-NESSA) now for 5 months I missed one period.I was supposed to get it on 11/07/06 but havent yet.I am getting some sighns of pregnancy like breast tenderness like nipples are very hard and it burns and they hurt.Also my breasts are swollen and are getting a little bit bigger.I feel like i want to throw up and i feel dizziness every once in a while.I would like to know is it possible to get pregnant while on TRI-NESSA? :( :cry:
Unfortunately, yes you can. Sometimes if it is meant to be birth control pills are not going to stop it from happening. From my understanding of birth control pills they are meant to regulate your period so if you have missed one it may be a sure sign that you are pregnant. Go to your doctors to find out what's really happening....
Don't jump to conclusions just yet, birth control can do all kinds of unexpected things to your body and cycle. The breast tenderness and swelling are also signs that you could be getting your period soon. It is not uncommon to miss a period or have irregular bleeding or spotting in the first few months on birth control. Don't work yourself up and get paranoid, it will only stress you out.
Yes! I have been on bc for 11 years and am religious about taking my pill at the same time every day, never missing one and I am now 21 weeks pregnant. I agree that if it is meant to be, it's meant to be....
