The disease comes from a parasite and some humans and animals are actually born with the parasites already in their body...so the people born with it already have the disease. also since animals can also be born with it, a pet can lick their genitals and then lick your face and give you the disease as well.

You're wrong. My husband is unable to have sex. Medical problems have made sex impossible, yet he tested positive for chlamydia. After other test were negative. He got it from a weak immune system. Made things easy to catch.

I was tested positive for Chlamydia, I was at the doctor a few weeks ago and it never showed until I got a colposcopy. My bf cheated over 8 years ago and swears he's been faithful since. He comes in contact with toilets, and what not other ppl use who could possibly be infected. Does this mean he's cheated or maybe had the infection for years and it didn't appear until now? Could he have gotten it from someone who hasn't washed their hands and using the doorknob or toilet after them?

The only way to get chlamydia is through sex with an infected person. It is not caused by UTI or yeast. Those infections were likely symptoms of chlamydia.

not all infections are bacterial - there's viral too. bacterial are treatable but can come back if the meds were not taken accuratly, viral, well you're screwed until it makes it's own way out of the body.
