Can i get chlamidia from anything but sex?

Could have had the infection for a while before knowing it. Could it have been from a past relationship?

Thank you SOO MUCH FOR answering that question i have an opening in my cervix and if any bacteria goes inside of me it causes me to get an infestion ever since i had my son my CERVIX has about a 1 cm opening and i have to make sure that anything that gets near there is very clean

Sorry but you can also get chlamydia on your throat one of my friends had chlamydia and had to get a mouth swab. I just had my regular pap check up and was positive for chlamydia. I straight away blamed my partner because i have not been with anyone else for 6 yrs, he took a test and it was negative. His doctor said i probably had it for awhile but then sleeping with him for 6 yrs unprotected wouldn't he have caught it? Im very Curtin i got it from my friend because she popped a cigarette for me with her teeth then i smoked it, and i also used her toilet right after her. Now she is getting her daughter tested to because they share drinks ect. My obstrition told me when he gave me my results not to jump the gun and think my partner cheated for there is not enough info about how it is spread and he also believes there are other ways of catching the infection.

And also i have had previous checks ups and been negative, also had had tests done during both pregnancys and both were clear i will be bringing this up to my doctor when i go back, Because my mind has been one big mess since i got the resaults and maybe hearing all these stories might push for more research to be done. But yes you can contract the infection orally and you can get chlamydia in your throat.

I have read your story over and over again because I am in desperation trying to get to the truth. Everybody hear clamydia and its always that is only transmitted sexually. On the other hand I have read enough to lead me to believe that their are other rare ways to transmit it . I'm just trying to get proof of that. Even in my own head I could see it being possible of some rare way like basicly being born with it especially since even Drs say if you get it once it can come back. I wonder myself if you can be born with clamydia and not know. My son and I are dealing with allegations of him being accused of doing something to his 3 year old daughter, fact of the matter is both mom and dad have a history of having clamydia and I just don't believe anything in propiate has been done to my granddaughter. Their may be possible charges brought upon him that would destroy his life as it has already started destroying all of our lives being that my granddaughter has already been taken away from our side of the family. Do you know a Dr or anything anyone else who believes there are other ways although rare. I too believe that there has not been enough research put into this and noone seems to care to do the research. Have you found anything out as far as yourself goes. I hope you see this and I hope you can give me some hope .
