Smoked 7-8 cigarettes a day (Newport 100 menthol) stopped for 4.5 days with a gallon of water & just passed my uruine sample for CC! Also drunk an OJ before the test to color my uruine!

Okay so I could totally use a non-smokers urine to pass my Bariatric pre-op nicotine test EXCEPT I'm on several narcotic meds that are prescribed and those of course wouldn't show up in the test. So any advice for that? I thought about just like scraping some of my meds like a TINY bit of each and like one of the little balls in my lyrics capsules into the urine. Would that work?!

I had a swab nicotine test today. I stopped smoking Monday at 6pm. I tested Thursday at 7pm. I tested negative for nicotine. I am female, 5'3", 155 lbs. I smoke almost a pack a day. In the 24 hour period before I stopped smoking, I smoked over a pack of cigs. Marlboro special blend. I didn't do anything special. I didn't buy BS clean out kits. I always drink half a gallon of water a day. I work. I did not exercise other than walking. So, you can pass a saliva nicotine test in 72 hours.
I smoked a pack a day for roughly 12 years, then stepped down to a half-pack/smoking here and there over the past few months.
I found out that a prospective employer would be doing a cotinine urine test, so I quit smoking this past Friday and ordered cotinine test strips. I was able to pass this test only 72 hours later. I drank at least a gallon of water each of those three days and did heavy exercise only one of the days (overdid it and got too sore after the first day). Another factor may have been the fact that I've been on a low carb diet which likely sped up my metabolism. I'm in decent shape, not overweight by any means. Oh, and the cutoff for my home test was 200 ng/mL, I even tested my smoking mom to make sure the test would give her a positive and it did.

do these remedies do the same if you have blood work dr wants full labs including nicotine results before surgery
I vape too,, mostly 0mg,,,occasionally 2mg,,,what's interesting is that die-hard vegetarians who eat a lot of night shade plants (tomatoes/eggplants) are consuming more nicotine than I am. now nicotine alone---not smoking is getting labeled as = to caffeine. the insurance companies have a lot to gain embracing vaping over smoking....people dont stop smoking until they are ready. I stopped the very day I started smoking (2 packs a day/ 35 years).. I feel awesome. My health has always been very good, I was lucky. I had no intention of stopping, but found I like the $$$ I saved and preferred vaping.
I totally agree with you. It is my business what I do and I will quit WHEN I get ready! I hate for someone to tell me what I have to do. I am a grown woman, I do know smoking is bad for me BUT it is still my choice, I also go to a pain specialist that will not give meds if I don't pass urine test each month. I usually stop smoking 7 days before my appointment, this month it will be 6 days so I am going to do the water thing I have read about. It has shown up some because my Dr. ask me who I was around that smoked because she said it was showing second hand smoke reading. I hate to lie but this is what it has come to because I am being forced to do something I do not want to do. Therefore, I just make up a story to cover me...sorry
I have to test for cigarettes every week at for a program that I'm in and to tell you the truth . The only thing that works for me asap is a long hot shower and some green tea the night before ! I take my test at 930 a.m . I stop smoking around 7-8 pm then don't smoke til after my test . I been doing this weekly for 9 months .

It's a urine test. Thanks for the help. I want to add that I bought some Cotinine tests with a cut of of 200 and was clean for that I'm just not sure what is considered non- smoker
Thank you. I have my breast reconstruction plastic surgery on Dec 6th. My surgeon is testing me before my actual surgery. I have hit a cig here and there for the last 2 weeks. I've 11 days in counting to passed the nicotine test. I've and won't smoke a cig because In in great need of the surgery. Do you think I will pass my test???
