Okay, I'm not sure about laxatives, I've tried them a few times and they've help me drop a couple pounds but nothing serious and they can be dangerous! If you want to lose weight, cut all gluten/grains out of your diet. Lots of lean meats (fish, shrimp, chicken) it's okay to eat red meats but just limit to 3 x a week! LOTS of fresh veggies. Steamed or raw is always the best choice. And exercise! You will see results like no tomorrow!

i'm 23. i started out at 395 in February today (November) im down to 302. i stopped soda within 2 months went down 35 pounds. now i drink water and tea. also i eat healthy 5 days a week and allow myself fat free ice cream and 1 candy bar a week. when u diet u tend to look at what u cant have. you can eat anything just small portions. and every couple of ours eat something small to keep your metabolism going. ow exercise 30 minutes a day get your heart rate above 70 bpm and just walking at a brisk pace is okay. good luck.

Laxatives are nor recommended. It may result to dehydration and electrolyte imbalance. Dependence is also noted. Why don't you change your lifestyle permanently. This way you'll lose weight unconsciously, have great skin and body.

Slimming World all the way!!! I joined at 22st and 6lbs, first week lost 10lbs, 4lbs the second week, 4lbs the third week and consistently losing 1-2lbs per week, i just cannot promote it enough, been doing it for 3 months and i've lost 2stone 4lbs :D

Hi there, I have been using laxatives for about 10 years now. At 14 I weighed 270 lbs and by the time I was 20 I weighed 130. The pills themselves only really lost my water weight, but back then even 3 lbs was good enough! At first it was great because it did help me loose weight- since I cant make myself throw up and If I binged on food, it gets everything out the next day. I started at 2 pills a day (only when I'd eat) and at one point was up to 70 (yes, seventy) pills a day. Even now they make my tummy a bit flatter but are now killing me. I have no bowel control, heart issues, bloody urine/stool, extreme abdominal pain and possibly leading to rectal prolapse (rectum falling out) if I don't stop. Also, I could/can never keep my weight the same. It goes up and down each year and wont stay down unless there is some exercise and no food. These are all the things you don't learn in school in health class and learn the hard way. Now, it could take 5-10 years with a nutritionist and psychologist to 'fix' it which is out of my budget. Please do not EVER use laxatives as weight loss unless you would like to die young and thin.

You should try a liquid diet to get you started then when u lost 15 pounds after a couple of weeks gradually at some solids in your diet veges lean meats

I am 14 5'1 & 200. I will do anything & everything to try & lose my weight I gained back. I use to do softball & a litre bit of cheering. I hurt something in my knees causing me to quit softball. Then hurt a bone in my wrist to cause me to stop cheering. I waking up in the morning & looking in the mirror to see a ugly slob. I just want to be tiny again.

Stop being lazy by thinking your fat will just melt away by taking pills. I'm honestly not trying to be mean, seriously though, there is no magic way to lose weeight. You eat sh*t tons of fat and calories, never burn them off, gain weight, then you start feeling and lokinging like sh*t and think, "Well maybe I can just take some pills and I'll get sexy"...NO! you have to work your butt off..litertally!
