Ok so i have found out i am 4 wks pregnant and since i have found this out i have had 2 sets of coldsores come throough.. One set before i knew i was pregnant, i got rid of them and with in like 2 days i have another huge amount of coldsores.. My whole top lip os covered in them.. So my question to anyone who knows is can my coldsore cause defects etc to my baby as one of the boys from work said to me that a customer came in with a down syndrome baby and the parents had said that the mother had cold sores and that why the baby had down syndrome.. This has made me so extremely worried now as obviously i want to keep my unborn baby as safe as possible and am anable to make it to the drs to discuss it with him until tomorrow night.. So can i please have some feed back from some people who ACTUALLY KNOW about this stuff and are not just guesssing about it..!! I need to know as i am so worried.. Please help!!
