My bf is a diabetic..which is soooooo much worse for me. After 6months of terrible yeast infections (after I started dating him) and tons of research. I started giving him cinnamon. Since he is a diabetic this helps his Sugar balance. He also drinks enough alcohol that it really affects him (he shouldn't drink...but he's an adult and I can't tell him what to do) again the cinnamon helps. If you take a probiotic daily (I'm lactose intolerant) biotin 10000mcg/day this really helps your hair skin and nails (including your lady heal (if your guy is large like mine) and you can take the cinnamon as well. You will be shocked at the improvement.
AND....you can totally not match up fluid wise. My ex husband and I did not mix well. It was terrible. I would always smell gross immediately after. I never wanted to have sex with him because of it. Try the above advice. I think you'll be very happy.

I must say I agree with the previous post. I suffered BV once before many years ago with a new boyfriend & the Dr then put it down to overuse of fragranced products down below (I was paranoid of being 'smelly'!) He treated me with a suppository thing & it cleared. Now, years later, I suffer everytime I have sex with my current partner. It always starts the 2nd day after sex & is so bad I notice when it starts even when I am simply stood at work. I have now discovered chewable Probiotic tablets but after researching on forums discovered the best method was to actually use as a suppository. So now, the 1st night after the last time we have sex I pop one inside, just like inserting a tampon. Push it in as far as you can with your finger. It absolutely works in that the good bacteria rebalences the upset PH balance that the sperm has caused. Honestly, try it & I'm sure you won't look back. These are the ones that I swear by, the chewables are the best as they dissolve whilst you sleep. I keep some at work in case Ive forgotten the night before & at the first whiff I nip to the loos (but always use a pantyliner if using during the day as you might encounter some residue leakage)......
I hope this will help some of you like it has me :) xx

I have been married for 5 years, with my husband for 9 years. A have not had any other partners in 10 years and as far as I know he hasn't either. I have never had bv before this year. (I'm a 32years old mother of 3). It's crazy he went on a trip came back we had sex and boom! Bv! It's been 7 months of treatment. Everytime it goes away we have sex and it comes back, it makes no difference if he ejaculats in me or not. My doctor told me it can be sexualy transmitted but is commonly not. she suggested my husband take antibiotics. I haven't told him about any of this yet because everyone said it's a woman thing. I didn't see the point in talking about it. But now, after talking with my doctor we think I need to talk to hI'm about trying the treatment. It can't hurt. So awkward because I don't think he cheats but I do think it's passing back-and-forth between us. If it's passing between us it could easily pass to another woman. So yes it can be sexualy transmitted.
