I also noticed similar position in my scrotum, got it checked from a prominent urologist and also got ultra sound done. This was almost 5 years back. The doctor confirmed the problem as presence of a cyst and
adviced me to ignore it.
I have not faced any problem of any kind ,though I am 68 years old..I feel there is nothing to worry if it is cyst and confirmed.

I've been having minor pain in my left nut for a few years now. I've had several back surgeries from a work injury and lots of scarring, so I just assumed it was related to that. Then one day, I find a lump near the top of my left testicle. Went to the doc, got an ultrasound, he says it's 2 cysts on the epidylim (sp?), or sperm storage sack and not to worry about it, it'll go away on it's own. The two are right next to each other and together are about the size of a large marble. The pain is becoming unbearable. Must be a nerve trapped in there somewhere. I'm going to get a second opinion and get them removed. Also have a cyst on my wrist that was supposed to go away on it's own, but 8 years later, it's still there.

I am 66 male. A few years back I got an ultrasound for incontinence. Then the doctor reported a cyst in the testicle of the size of 2.5 cm by 3.5 cm. Apparently there was no sign and no pain. I was told that it might by since childhood. On my asking he said nothing to worry about. Some three years back I had an angiography of the heart for chest pain when again under the scanner I was told of the cyst. I am having no problem or growth with my cyst.

I have no kids. At the young age the sperm tests reported very few sperms. I had no erection or ejeculation problems. I have no kids. Wonder whether the cyst has some relation with infertility.

I got a cyst on my right nut, I am 18, Persoanlly, I could care less, If I die, I die, I get over the fear, Nothing to worry about, If i loose my chance with kids, Then I go out and adopt a kid and plus the kids to adopt need a family more then anything, < Thats not the point. You guys have to stop worrying about what Is right and what is wrong, You need to go out, schedule an appointment, ask your DR what is the best idea, and go for it, if not then its your lost. I am sorry I am rude, But its the truth, and truth can hurt but will show what can really happen.

Good luck ;)

Well I had lump for 2 years on my ball. It got a bit larger suddenly then I noticed a bump in my lower gut area, to the right of my pubes. Went to GP he said it could becancer, so he booked me in with urologist who sais it probably is cancer (99%) and had to go under the knife. Surgery wasnt so bad. Indeed it was confirmed cancer (stage 2b seminoma). 9 weeks of chemo, not fun, but an interesting life experience for sure. I'm fine now - no signs of cancer 11 months later.

I am 23 and noticed a small lump on my left testicle around 9 years ago. I finally had the courage to go and get it checked today. Turns out it is just a cyst. Guys, if you have any concern, just go and see your GP :)

Hey, i just came back from the doctor's office because I had this uncomfortable pain coming from a bump on my upper right testicle and have had a same sized bump there for over two years and it ends up, it is only a epididymal cyst and there is nothing to worry about according to the gp. He still referred me to a urologist and I will be seeing him tomorrow. I don't think anyone on this forum should be worried like most of you are. Fortunately, the services are free in my country (canada, quebec) and i am going to make sure, but it is nothing serious.

Well said. Asking the right people will give the best answers. GP's will happily let you know or refer.
