I have conjunctivitis. I went to doctor five days ago and he told me to use chloramphenicol eye drops. I’m using it for five days and nothing is changed. I think that this medication doesn’t work on me. Can some people be resistant to chloramphenicol? What to do now? Should I call my doctor or what?
If your symptoms do not improve within a few days after first taking of chloramphenicol, or if they become worse, you should check with your doctor. As I know, very little people can be resistant to this kind of medications (antibiotics). So, maybe you don’t have bacterial infection and you maybe need other kind of drugs.
