Actually, you can overdose on suboxone. you can die from an overdose with Suboxone in combination with another sedative. You can die if you take too much benzodiazepine (Xanax, Valium, Klonopin) or too much alcohol with Suboxone. However, this appears to be a much less common occurrence than with methadone.

Can't over dose on suboxone since it has a ceiling affect. .you probably took more than you needed and since it's an opiate with Adderall being an amphetamine upper they both don't seem to mix well depending how close together the drugs are taken and the person. Varies .

Im On Subutex and Meth, both prescribed. I always wonder how bad it really is for me but it seems there’s not allot of talk about the combo. My doctors tell me it’s safe and they monitor my heart and body twice a month and it feels fine. Im not sure tho cause I know what you mean. Im currently on 4mg of generic subutex and 5mg desoxyn.

This. I cannot explain to anyone how there has never been any truer words written than these. I’m prescribed adderall and suboxone and have been afraid of tapering lower than 2mg on the buprenorphine. Once the buprenorphine would leave my system, my adhd symptoms would return like waves crashing into rocks. I never realized it could possibly be the withdrawal symptoms from the suboxone simply being extraordinarily powerful.
Thank you, for your perspective. I thought that my medication would no longer be effective on its own. Don’t lose the joy in life!

You can too overdose on Suboxone. You can overdose on Tylenol, if you want to. It's very possible. Unfortunately , you can overdose on pretty much anything.

Who was the person that said suboxone doesn’t get you high?? Acting like you know anything damn. It most definitely gets you high, but blocks any opiates. Have you taken one? The whole point is to cut down gradually off of what you need to get off, and that’s where the high comes in, so you aren’t dying and you’re also getting off of opiates. You need to get out of here with your made up facts before you cause someone a lot of trouble.

All you who think naloxone is an opiate it’s not. It’s only function is to prevent you from injecting Bup. When used orally it does nothing. How do I know? Been on Subs since 2005 AND I know how to read the thousands of websites that state it’s effects. Buprenorphine won’t get you high and ceiling effect is 8mg.

If Naloxone is an opiate why do they give it to OD victims genius? This site is full of brain damaged addicts., I fortunately went back to school in 2009 and got my BS and Masters in Psych and my CASAC to be a substance abuse counselor. All while on Subs and Klonopin

You're completely wrong. It may not happen to you, but it has happened to others. I am the prime example. I only take my sub films every few days, and when I know I need one is because I have this horrible anxiety that won't go away (not even with clonidine, hydroxyzine or Klonopin). Now that I don't take it every day, I feel a little high when I do take it. I feel happier, more energized and more calm with a sense of well being. These are precisely the things drugs do when you get "high". I'm a former addict as well as a nurse, so trust me, I know what I'm talking about! You probably don't because you take it everyday, on a regular basis, so you don't feel any different. Sorry to bust your bubble, but you're giving out completely false information.

I also take both adderall and suboxone. I’m not prescribed, but I do take them pretty close to recommended doses. I dabbled with Adderall in high school and college and after that got addicted to oxy… tried Suboxone because ..well..I was a junkie, I was willing to try anything to “get well”. never went to treatment just maintained it on my own but after taking Suboxone for so long, I realize my serotonin and dopamine are SHOT. so recently tried Adderall again, and it almost made me feel normal…like how I did before I ever tried drugs. bizarre. when i was just on suboxone i would do psilocybin often to try to level myself out and bring natural dopamine and serotonin but once i started dosing sub regularly i could feel it just dulling me out. i truly hate suboxone.. just how it numbs me. i also hate adderall and how it makes me so intense and scattered in my hyperactive thinking BUT both together both dull me out but then sharpen me up. i wanna dose psilocybin again and see where that takes me

Hello, guest.

I'm sorry to hear about the challenges you've been facing with addiction and the impact it has had on your serotonin and dopamine levels.

Adderall is a stimulant medication that affects the levels of certain neurotransmitters in the brain, including dopamine and norepinephrine. It can increase alertness and improve focus for individuals with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). However, using Adderall without a prescription or medical supervision can be risky, as it may have adverse effects and potential for addiction.

Suboxone is a medication used in the treatment of opioid addiction. It contains buprenorphine, which is a partial opioid agonist, and naloxone, which helps prevent misuse. Suboxone is intended to be used under medical supervision and as part of a comprehensive treatment plan.

The use of psilocybin or any other psychedelic substances should be approached with caution. Psychedelics can have profound effects on perception and cognition, and their use should be done in a safe and controlled environment. If you're considering using psilocybin again, it would be best to consult with a healthcare professional who is knowledgeable about your situation and can provide appropriate guidance.Remember that they are best equipped to provide personalized advice based on your unique circumstances.

I wish you luck!
