Can you take Suboxone & Addaral (amphetamine salts) together?

you're absolutely correct, the first time I did suboxone I was jonesing from oxi's and got very high, I quit after doing a speedball (heroin and coke), and now on suboxone, and it don't get you high at all.

My aunt is a nurse and you ABSOLUTLY cannot overdose on suboxon.. Any dr will tell you that as well..

My uncle is a doctor as well and its just not possible. Now if there are a mixture of other drugs that can happen buts its through the other meds not suboxone. Im sorry that happened to you and im glad your ok. Its a tough fight. My children lost their dad and aunt from a overdose then grandmother died of a heart attack all in 6 weeks time. I hope you stay on the right path to recovery

Hi I don't kno if ur still doing this dreadful ass dance. I've been there. I was on 12) 30mg roxys a day before I went to rehab n was put on suboxone and weaned off before I was released. But my back problems kept me from being sober and I just wouldn't go back on percs or anything the drs wanted to rx me so second day outa rehab I was put on 8mg strips twice a day. U r right we r a paycheck to them drs. My mom came to an apt after my third month saying she wanted me off within 5 months. Dr turned to her n said ur daughter will be on suboxone till she dies or she will relapse on roxies choose ur devil. Atleast with suboxone she can't OD and she will have her life mostly back and Watched over by a dr! Well needless to say I was on suboxone same dose for 4.5 yrs! I had an opiate of some kind in my system for over six years straight! My dr gave me a month notice that he was moving outa state n i had to get a new dr.... think fl state was going after him because I kno my parents complained to the board of health n sh*t n they had said they were already investigating him. I loved my dr honestly. But I digress.... I couldn't find another dr n i had to f*****g go cold turkey! I got so desperate, was ready to kill myself. I had tried to withdraw before went for over a month without subs n the withdrawls had gotten worse every day not better n i couldn't deal with that again! I swore I never would n that I'd die first. I got SOOOO lucky! I found a bottle of lyrica n gabapentin that I used to take six yrs before. Well I took 4) 75 mg lyricas every f*****g 6 hrs for a wk. I had NO WITHDRAWLS NONE! THE WITHDRAWLS I HAD BEEN GOING THREW STOPPED IN A HR OF THAT FIRST DOSE. My new dr rxs me 300mgs gabapentin once a day. I take it in night time so I don't get withdrawls restlessness from residual suboxone withdrawls. Gabapentin or lyrica are not opiates of any kind. My worse withdrawls from subs r restless legs syndrome but I'll get it everywhere not just my legs ALL DAY N NIGHT!!! Gabapentin can be abused if u take several but ull feel loose n Walk into walls but not like oxys. Kinda like a valium I guess. But anyone who wants to get off any subs, methadone or pain med should have their dr put them on lyrica (at first I recommend lyrica) then after a month go onto gabapentin. Lyricas stronger n also is now a controlled substance but gaba is not . If u don't wanna be reliant on any drug do not stay on gaba or lyrica for more then two or three wks u can get withdrawls from them too. I usually just get restless legs if I run out. But it's a very good savor! Better then kpins that they give u to get off subs! If u got questions contact me im more then glad to help. It has now been 13 months I've been clean of with no relapse though I do take that one gabapentin a day. Some SAY That's not clean but there's no narcotics in me so I say I'm clean bit***s! Can't say Joes not really sober Cuz He TAKE ADVIL OR flexerill for his pain. What u guys think?

Do all you idiots realize that suboxone has a ceiling?? That u can go no higher above?? If you take 2 strips, or you take 50, it will feel the same. Of course, you l can still die from taking too many. I'm just saying taking more than a couple, will get you NO MORE high than taking 100. Anyone who says different on here, no matter what information they try and back it up with, is a frikkin liar.

If you don't take opiates on the reg...and you take a soboxone you get high as f**k, fir at least 12 hours...4mg will have you wasted!!!

i have been told over and over ( and by my Dr, that you "can not" over dose on suboxin). I've done alot of research on this subject and Thats why this is the greastest program to help when addicted to opiates! so HOW did you over dose on it??? please tell me, thx

Actually subs do get u pretty damn high matches the effect of all the pain meds I used to take

Yessss....I would do anything to not have a addiction issue to opiates which I've been clean from over 4 years now, but I've been on Suboxens daily....Now I'm addicted to these. I want to wean off these & be free completely. Don't take these just to get high!

i used to think this way buddy.. wanting to do drugs instead of living in the "normal sad pathetic world" because i couldnt understand how people could want to live and not get high. ive only been on suboxone for a month now but im learning that the only reason i felt that way was because i felt i had no way out and im sure you feel that way and if you do either way your not going to admit until you can go without and realize it your self but im realizing as things will get better and my life will progress and i will start to have to deal with less drug related issues and only cravings im gonna be happier... as of right now i dont wake up and want to get high or think about heroin which im extremely happy about because before suboxone entered my life for about 2 years i would always think that way wanting to get high or constantly think about getting high but i no longer really concentrate on that im more focused on bettering my future, getting things i didnt have before like a car license a better job and FREEDOM from that life and because of that i will have a better life outlook and experience in life, im also experiencing optimism and hope for my future because when i finally get a job i can start saving money to build my life instead of throwing it away to pay my heroin dealer for whatever i owe him for fronts and then whatevers left on dope and the only reason i was able to live like that is because i was fortunate enough that my parents didnt boot my ass out when i turned 19 which is when it really started getting bad and got a lot worse when i turned 20 and the time to make a change came a month ago because that road was soon to end and if i didnt have my parents pretty much enabling me giving me a home food etc. i would have been homeless jobless aeven bigger wreck than i was and now in stead of them enabling me i have them supporting me on the path im now traveling which is a lot better than having them threating,demeaning, and telling me im a junkie because the truth is i was, but im not any more i am now a recovering addict with a long road ahead of him....

Completely untrue. It is absolutely possible to OD in Suboxone. Overdosing can be organ failure due to taking too much medication. Suboxone like other Opioids suppresses the respiratory system so someone could absolutely OD on it. It is a very strong medication. I hate it when people say you can't OD on something.... You can OD on Tylenol. Making untrue statements can be dangerous to others.
