Hello, im 38 years old, male, and have been experiencing some strange things related to my health, more precisely, the health of my eyes. It started a couple of days ago, and i can't explain it. I am unable to see the left hands of people surrounding me. It might be retina-related, or a brain-related thing, i really dont know. People wave at me, to greet me, but i can't see their left hands, it really scares me. I dont see left hands. am i normal?

Hi, I am a physician. Not giving you "professional advice" here, but "if I were you", I would go to the Emergency Room for an evaluation OR go to a Walk-in clinic (urgent care clinic), if you prefer. But, they will most likely just send you on to the ER for further tests, anyway. You need to be "worked up" for this. This could be serious, if left UNTREATED. There are a number of conditions that can present in this fashion and you need to have them each ruled out systematically and carefully by a qualified doctor. This is your health. Don't take it for granted. Just bite the bullet and go to the ER. Chances are, it is very treatable, but if left untreated the consequences could be much worse.
Hi. Just wondering how you are doing?
