My dad had a tooth pulled about 3 weeks ago... never had a headache before in his life.
Ever since he had the tooth removed he has had a horrible headache. He says his skull feels like it is cracking.
He has not been able to sleep. He stays up all day, and when he tries to sleep at night he only sleeps for about an hour, and he says it's an awake type of sleep. He is aware of everything that is going on. He might get 2-4 hours sleep a night.
He has since started to get spots on his chest. The phamacist though it was shingles.
He has been to the hospital and no one knows what wrong! It seems like no one is taking this seriously and I am very worried about him.
He is at the hospital again. They have finally sent him for a cat scan, ran a bunch more tests.. just waiting on the results now... They are now saying he has a fever and they have him quatantined.
Has anyone heard of anything like this?! What could be causing it..

hey there. as soon as you get the lab test results can you let me know. especially what his differential white blood cell count is. as for the rash does he only have it on one side of his chest. finally how high is his fever and does it ever get better/worse at different times of the day?
