I am 32 and for most part of my life I was active. However, things have changed. I feel pain in my shoulder and it hurts me even when I do simple things, like raising my arm. What do you think is wrong with me?

If you can't move your shoulder around like you said you could easily have adhesive capsulitis. However, this is not a diagnosis. You still need to visit your doctor's office. This way, you will know exactly what your condition is, and will be able to get a proper treatment. If you have pain or stiffness in your shoulder when you move it or just simply trying to do something, you may have adhesive capsulitis. Your doctor will be able to tell you if you have adhesive capsulitis just by talking to you and watching you move. He may also press on parts of your shoulder to see what might be causing the pain. In some cases, the doctor may want to take an x-ray of your shoulder to look for or exclude other problems. There are some exercises you should do to help break up the scar tissue in your shoulder, and I am sure that your doctor will show them to you but you may need a physical therapist to help you with these exercises. I hope that I was clear enough and that you realize that you will not get any better unless you seek professional help.
