jane, how are you so sure about this thing about not able to get pregnant just after finishing your period
Hello everyone, I have been having unprotected sex 2 days b4 my period and 2 days after my period. I have not gotten pregnant yet. The best thing to do to make sure your not ovulating is by getting a ovulation kit from the store. People say the kits are to high, but the dollar store has them for $1 and they work just like the 15.99 kits. When I think im ovulating, i will take a test. If it shows i'm not ovulating, then it is all good, if i am ovulating i will wait. So my advice to everyone that is wondering about getting pregnant a couple days b4 and after your period........ IT IS POSSIBLE!!!!!!! I have a cousin that is a doctor and i get advice and details from her. Every woman is different, your hormones are different and your cycles are different. Just because five womens have their periods REGULAR and their periods stay on for 5 days doesn't means they all can or can not get pregnant. The 5 woman has different lifestyles, they eat different some maybe overweight, some maybe stress and some may be infertile. The only true way to know is CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR not your internet friends.
I currently am facing this problem. I found out she isn't going to get pregnant, but it has more to do with the fact that she is infertile, and I apparently have a really low sperm cell count. So we were glad. We were really close friends and it was just a one night stand. A huge mistake we thought, and we aren't doing it again, but I was thinking me at 20 having a kid. I would've gladly taken up the task of raising the child as it would be mine, and if she wanted to get an abortion to avoid that. I can't force someone to go through with the pregnancy and give it to me to raise though I would prefer that.
Point is when you make these decisions and realize the consequences. I wouldn't panic. A kid is a blessing. Where there are so many couples who can't give birth, and when she found out she was infertile, and I had my problem. That was worse than hearing news of her being pregnant, and she isn't pregnant due to infertility.
This will be a problem for her. FOr me as well.
Now this sexual encounter happened a few weeks before getting a girlfriend, but I was afraid this would haunt me, but my girlfriend said what happened before the relationship started was just that, and btw I just hoooked up with her.
so with everything. I could say I got lucky, but unlucky. I wouldn't mind having a kid. I grew up without my dad in the house and I wouldn't want that for the kid I would have to raise. It wouldn't be easy, but I wouldn't mind. I dunno. I am a bit strange for my age. I tend to put family and friends before my career, and right now I am a university student soo that would be the only problem I would be facing.
Anyway the only sex one should have is safe sex. With us and my friend the condom broke, but after that night. We both swore off alcohol, and going out.
PRetty much the experience of possibly getting someone pregnant has changed how I live my life. And that night was the very first night I lost my virginity so it was quite scary.

YES YOU CAN!!! i had my cycle right before fathers day in 99, i ended and had sex ON fathers day. the next day my EX husband and i split, (long story) we were separated for two months, i went to a shelter, 6 weeks later i found out i was pregnant, my daughter was born march 20th 2000! so yea, 9 months later, there she was. so lets see, if i had a 4 day cycle, and then sex, then 3 days and 9 months later a child was born. you can get pregnant at anytime. i don't know if it was a fluke or what, but it happened.
yes you can the first time i got pregnant was when i had unrpotected sex after my period...my best friend got pregnant like that too...and my other friend too...because we used to do the 10 day rule which is bs because thats how we all got pregnant...it doesnt matter verybody is different but t depends on when you are ovulating or aout to ovulate because you can have semen inside you for 2 to 5 days and when ovulations starts you can actually get pregnant...

Hi, I had sex 3 days after my period and he didnt cum inside me but he wiped it off and put it back in me without a condom. can i get pregnant doing that?
I had protected sex with my bf 2 days after my periods were over. but i am still tensed as i am having facing lots of problem from the day i had sex. i am going to loo more frequently. after 15 days i have pain in my abdomen for 3-4 days. Now i am having low BP. So don't know its symptom of pregnancy or what. is this enough proof of pregnancy ???
Update from a bummed out dude in Boston: You can get a woman pregnant two days after her cycle ends (at least, that what she said.) I hate condoms; but, having another kid, at my age, with a woman I don't live with? I'd rather chain my self to a radiator and stare out the window. :$
Okay here's my story. While making love the condom got really dry so we switched out for a new one and then literally like a minute later that one dried out and snapped either right as he came or right before. He pulled out as soon as her felt and heard it and came mostly outside of me. I'm on the pill and its only been 5 days after my last period and to be honest I'm freaking out because I've had scares in the past. He's worried too and doesn't know if he came in me at all.
I havn't been able to get to a store as I have no transportation and live quite a ways away from one to even try to get spermicide or Plan B.
Is there ANY chance I could get pregnant even on the pill and 5 days after my last period on a 28 day cycle.
So yeah I'm freaking a little considering I don't even know how to get Plan B and it was 33 hours ago

well im 16. and i also had sex 1 day after my period ended and then the day after that which was feburary 4 i think. those two times my boyfriend comed inside me without m even knowing but i dont know if you still can get pregnant. everyday when i get home from school i just go directly to bed, ive been more tied than usually and i get some of those pregnancy sympotoms like the mood swings or the cravings and the nauseas. ive been feeling really bloated and fat. and alot oof backaches i dont know whats happening to me. is it to early to know if im pregnant? or am i pregnant?is it even possible? please help i dont got anyone else to ask, thank you
