Chances of normal pregnancy after tubal ligation?

Hi I am 30 Years old and have 4 kids I had my tubes tied a year and 3 months ago I missed my period last month of January I did a test and I got a dark line and a real light one you can hardly see is that considered a negative or positive?

I'm Going thru the same thing. Had my tubes tied 11 years ago, My oldest is almost 21 and my youngest is 11.. I have gotten pregnant on several types of birth control (3 of my 5 kids) ... I have never missed my period, actually I get it every 24 days like clock work... But this month nothing.. I have the signs of pregnancy, Tired, no appetite (food makes me sick) breast are sore etc.. I took a home pregnancy test and it was negative.. Now is it possible to be pregnant even if the test said Negative? I do not have stress in my life so I know its not that... And my boyfriend keeps telling me I'm pregnant.. What to do?????

Amen!! My youngest is 7 too, and I had the same tubal you did, and now I would give anything to have another. I wish I had not done this to my body. Its been a nightmare as far as my periods, and cyst on my ovaries. I just wish I could go back and I would have never had it done. I pray everyday for the Lord to bless me with more children. I would gladly have as many as he would allow.

Hi, I have never wrote on a. Forum, but I had my tubes, cut, burnt and tied. Just lost a normal pregnacy at 3 months. Its been 16 years and my tubal stopped working... YES you CAN have a baby if its meant to be..

Amen! I agree 100% with you! I had my tubes tied before I had come into a relationship with The Lord. I am now married and would love a child with my husband, even though many says it's impossible, because I know what is impossible with man is possible with God! I take God at His Word, which says nothing is too hard for the creator of all existence, and with Him ALL things are possible! I am waiting on my blessing, in expectance!

Praise the Lord! What an awesome God we have to let you experience a divine miracle! I got my tubes clamped 3 years ago and had a bit of a scare this month. I thought it was impossible to get pregnant but as I'm reading all these posts about normal pregnancies, it's almost exciting to be able to physically see God telling you "your plan is not My plan". I love how God works in people's lives! I'll be praying for you!

I understand that can be a huge bomb of frustration. Your doctor should have REALLY advised you NOT to engage in intercourse so soon after the ligation. I'm sure you were told the good ole "6 weeks" routine. I waited 90 days before I had sex again. Not a single pregnancy in 4 years. Key word in these cases: Heal.

I am also 40. I had my tubes done over 8 years ago after I had my 4th kid threw c section. I am usually always on point with my periods. In March I had 2 periods lasting only 2-3 days. Since then I have not had a period. Last week I took a test and it was negative, but I will take a blood test. I have been working out but not loosing any weight. I'm also vegan, but I have been craving western bacon cheeseburger. That's not me. Lol. I would love to have 1 more baby with my husband... I'm just scared if it's a tube baby ugh.

I am six days late and I had my tubal ligation, clip/tied/burnt, almost 8 years ago. I am having some symptoms such as bloating and abdominal cramping also mood swings (sensitive and irritated at times). I don't know what to do, but I know I have to do something. I'm thinking about waiting until the month is over to get tested.

Amen to that. I had mine tied over 10 years ago and am hoping to have number 4 with my new hubby soon, God say the same. Praying for our little miracle baby.

Hello, so hear we go. I had my tubs tied a 1 1/2 ago right after the birth of my 4th daughter. It is now may 17th 2016 and my last period was march 15th 2016, i am currently 2 months late. 2 weeks after i missed my period in april i took a pregnancy test it was negative. i took one every week up until now, probably twice a week and it all came back negative. I had my tubes tied for a reason "NOT TO GET PREGNANT" believe me, 4 kids later the last thing i want is to have another baby... So believe me when i say... my body has been acting pregnant, I'm not crazy.... The beginning of this month i started cramping then i felt so sick to my stomach that i couldn't be near food... Now i am feeling heavy in my uterus (blotted) my boobs are extra sore and my husband noticed bumps around my niples and my areola expanding, when he told me that i broke down and said "babe i didn't want to tell you this because i dont want you or anyone looking at me like im crazy but i feel as though my body is preparing for a baby" i want to believe the test i see every week but my body is telling me different and im getting so scared because i don't want to continue searching and wind up hearing something i don't want to hear "your pregnant!"

my question is:
has anyone gottan pregnant a year or two after tubal ligation?
Has anyone had a pregnancy go unnoticed for a while after tubal ligation?
Has anyone had a negative test with no period and pregnancy symptoms a year or two after tubal ligation and wined up being pregnant?
Could it be my body thinking it's pregnant because of me not haveing a preiod, has this happened to anyone?
