i have some chest congestion producing mucous that had went away and has comeback was taking mucinex and it worked for 1 week than slight cough came back with light mucous

My sister has similar problem and she is afraid of the doctor. I have noticed that you have posted this question one year ago and I presume that you have found answer to it. So I was wondering if you could provide me with some information. I would be very grateful and my sister as well. The worst part is that she is not taking any medications and she is refusing to see the doctor.
She is only drinking some herbal teas, but I don’t see any progress. I am afraid that this is pneumonia or something even worse. I just need good reason to tell her that she must see the doctor. Thank you in advance.
