Hi, i'm 14 and in the past few hours i've been getting some pain in my chest more or less where my heart is.

it started about 4 hours ago when I woke up with what I think was a panic attack, short of breath, chest pains and dizzyness.

After that the other symptons died down, all expect the chest pains which have been growing more and more painful .

If I lie down it seems to make the pains worse, so I guess that rules sleep out? x-x (yes, it's currently 2am T_T)

I've had some painkillers. Paracetamol and ibporfen and but they havn't touched the pain.

So does anyone have any idea's about what I can do.

I'll proberly make a doctors appoitment tomorrow (but knowing my doctor's they won't have a space till next week x_x)

Ps, I also have CFS but i've never gotten chest pain with that before, only stumach pains.
Try sleeping at an inclined angle to see if it helps. At the very least, pop your head up using lots of extra pillows. Take an antacid, or consume something alkaline such as milk. Stomach acid can ascend the esophagus to the level of the heart and beyond.

Honestly, ibuprofen can worsen your heart condition if there is one.

Dizziness, shortness of breath and chest pain can be related to an abundance of possible things. Such as acid reflux, heart, or lung issue.

It is good that the shortness of breath and dizziness died down; but the chest pain is a major factor. I personally had a stroke when I was ten years old, it is possible something similar may have happened to you. It can be a wealth of issues, but if this continues you need medical attention.

It is recommended going to the emergency room if you cannot see your doctor within a timely manner.
