Hi, my husband was diagnosed with CHF with an ejection fraction and now year after we are at an EF of 20 % and just take one day at a time…he is on coreg, but I was thinking if surgery will fix problem. Is there anyone with similar problem who can give me some input or advice? Thank you.
I have similar problems and I went through my third bout of CHF 2 years ago. This time they insisted that I get a defibrillator, I was scared, and I got a second opinion, they agreed with my doctor. So, I had surgery, I can feel the device under my skin, but I don't have a lot of fat or muscle there. I go in every three months to have it scanned and I was told that I have to go in to surgery every 5 to 6 years to replace the battery.
