I haven't had a bowel movement in 4 weeks now tried everything nothing seem to work. Back in February 2018 a colonoscopy was perform nothing was found . What should I do next?
My home health nurse tells me there is nothing else they can do and all options are in use. I am due to go 6 ft under, it seems. That is the answer for my COPD.."nothing else to be done". This time my constipation is on day 10, the last being minor stool elimination. I am told to take two Senekot , Miralax, and digit out by hand. My hand does not bend enough to dig it out. I am on fast acting Morphine. longlasting morphine, and liquid morphine along with Lorazepam, and other meds. She said I can take morphine up to 8 times a day. I'd be a solid slab of concrete if I did that. I try to keep it down to 2 and i still don't have a bowel movement. Radiograph of stomach showed irregularity with no blockage. Dr was very surprise of the appears. Scheduled for a CT, last week went to chiropractor, back had acted up and my bowels started moving every day since.
