just got over sinus infection for the third time in 3 weeks and now there is a white sore spot on the roof of my mouth and it feels like there is a thick coating and i can't seem to clear my throat it is scratchy and sore to the touch what could this be?

This seems to me like your sinus infection just got worse and it spread to your throat. What have you used to treat the sinus infection? I know that sinus infections can be very complicating and they are very hard to treat because they tend to return after some time. I have a friend that had problems with sinus infection and she always complained about headaches and problems in throat. I think that she used some herbal remedies to get rid of the infection. Have you considered to treat your sinus infection with herbal remedies instead of pills? You could try to use some antibiotics as well because they usually help but only temporarily.
