I've been on different forms of subutex since a botched breast reconstruction (cancer) in 2003. After effective weaning off opiates, my MD found that subutex helped with my chronic nerve pain. I have been on 8mg twice to three times a day, I wonder about long term useage side effects.  I have tried the full garment of nerve pain meds but nothing helped. Am I to be on subutex for the rest of my days? What are the long term side effects?
