I would like to ask you about my problem. I am experiencing a lot of health troubles because of CMV infection. I have even spent several days in hospital on two occasions. Since then, from time to time CMV occurs and it started causing me headaches and some eye problems. Could there be a connection between CMV infection and myasthenia gravis?
I assume that you have already went through tests and examinations concerning your headaches and eye problem. As far as I know, there is no direct link between CMV infection and myasthenia gravis. There are few rare cases, in which CMV emerged in patients who already had myasthenia and have been treated with immune suppressive medications. Anyway, myasthenia is not your case; you must search for something else.
