However, it is quite possible that your diarrhea will be reduced with colestid, because this drug sometimes cause constipation with people who don’t have diarrhea. So, its effect on the bowel movement is obvious. You actually want to provoke a side effect with this medicine, to treat IBS-D. To be honest, I don’t like this idea.
