I have have a history of polops and had to have a segment of my bowel removed 5 years ago because the Dr. could not get them all out. Last Year I had 32 polops removed and none were cancer. This year the Dr. worked for 3 hours and finially gave up "because of so many clusters of polops that I am afraid of puncturing the bowel" I am now scheduled for surgery in 3 weeks. What does he mean, cluster of polops? Are they deeper inbeded into the colon wall? What can I do, if anything to prevent this from happening again. My sister has had colon cancer twice and so far mine have all been benign.
