I had my routine exam at my gyn’s 3 days ago. She found something abnormal in my cervix. I will probably need to have it removed surgically. I’m 24. She noticed something about condilomes . I need help to understand this. I’m very confused about these cervical foundings. Anyway, it seemed to me like was nothing that serious.
Are you already scheduled for the surgery? It is probably nothing serious if the diagnosis was made that easy, by one routine exam. Procedures like cryosurgery or heat surgery are very simple and very commonly performed at gyn’s ordination. I had condylomes and had to remove them because they may cause certain complications if untreated. I understand that you’re being confused because you actually do not know what your diagnosis is like. Next time ask your gyn more, it is your body and your responsibility.
