I have had in the past acute eye pain around my right eye socket along with a headache which stops me from sleeping. Eventually after sufferring with this for months i went to the doctors and was given 3 lots of anti biotics one ofter the other as it did not seem to clear up. The headache has gone and it feels 85% better but my righ eye is still watery and it feels tight and hot alot of the time. I cough up congestion every morning and have itchy nose some of, not all of, the time.
My question is i cannot understand why i am still ike this. Sometimes my ear aches, i work in a call centre and generally have the headset on that side but have to switch sides if i am on a long day or the side of my face gets hotter. It would just be nice if my right eye felt the same as my left eye as i would feel pretty good then. Also i worry that with all the congestion about bad breath. I went to the docs to see if i had any allergies. A blood test was done but she said i didnt have any 'antibodies' (i think this was the word she used.) in my blood so very unlikely to be an allergy. My husband says he doesnt care what they say and that my symptoms are very similar to his and he has hay fever. I have had chronic sinusitis several times in the past and think that maybe this is the result. I also noted somewhere on the net that if you have mucus running down your throat it could be an ear infection which could also be viral, could this be it and i still have it now because it is in my ear?
I dont want to go back to the docs and ask again because she didnt seem too interested last time i went, bit like i was wasting her time.
sorry for long muddled post, T
