i have had constant earaches and headaches of varying degrees for the past 3 and a half years. they have never completely gone away. the pain is always there, no matter what i do or what medication i take. some times its only a mild irratation but at other times the pain is so severe i can't open my eyes or even think straight. at some points i almost felt like ripping my ears off, just to stop it for a small amout of time or distract myself.
for the first year i went to doctor after doctor but they all insisted there was nothing wrong. i dont have allergies, it isn't an infection, and they aren't migranes so i'm not sure what to think anymore. for about two years i was taking up to 8 pills a day but nothing was effective so i eventually gave up. my family thinks that im making it up and they wont take me to the doctor again.
i'm not sure what to do. i really want it to end. do any of you have any idea what might be causing this? please, im desperate!

This may sound overly simple but consider this option: If you are a teenager, as I think, it may be you are having issues with wisdom teeth... Seriously.
If you can give me your age, anything else you think is helpful...Like is there anything that makes it worse? Food, sounds, activity...Full moon (no joke) new moon too... Think whether you eat chinese food or sushi or what other factors may worsen it.
But...If I am right, go to the dentist and get an x-ray of your mouth. Also the perotid glands are right there (under the ear and back jaw. Along with the TMJ. It could be grinding of teeth all night long, any or all...
Let me know more, and or check into it, and check out the wisdom teeth/tmj/perotid gland options....
Good luck...

Hi Sawyl,
Good advice. I remember when I was younger I had problems with headache when my wisdom teeth were coming out. I really didn't use any tablets because the pain was just few hours long for every couple of days. It was manageable.
