I am 19 and a college lacrosse player-for the past few weeks I have been feeling muscle fatigue, my legs are constantly tired and when I run they feel worn out and beat. My neck glands are also swollen and I have a bit of nose congestion. Any ideas?
This could be due to the fact that your body is trying to detox from some things and isn't really able. I suggest you make yourself sweat by getting yourself hot. You can do this with a steam bath or with a hot fan. Exercise sweating won't achieve the detoxing effect. Do this for about 30 minutes a day until you start to feel better.
It could also be a cold/flu. In either case of a bug or if your system is trying to detox, you want to make sure you drink plenty of water--about half your body weight in ounces of water a day--and are having a bowel movement 2-3 times a day. Believe it or not, this is healthy. Rest, of course, would be great.
Mind you, I'm not a doctor. These are my opinions and suggestions. Seeing a doctor is never a bad idea.
