Hi, ive been having ongoing neck pain for about 7 months. 2 years a go i got a slight tap to the side of my head, it felt a little loose for a couple days then was fine. for about two years after that i would get a slight tight neck which could be easily fixed with a massage. however 7 months ago the massages couldn't help it. it gave slight relief but i was stuck with this neck pain, it was constant for about 2 months i was seeing osteopath and having acupuncture every week which helped a little, then all of a sudden it felt great for two weeks, just completely out of the blue. then the pain came back hard. Further down the track i found someone who realigns your spine. he put the bone into place and told be i had my c3 out of place. it was then perfect for a month.
I then hit my head hard, directly on the forehead which put the c3 bone back out of place. every time i went to see the guy who puts it back in it would feel great for a while then would go out and the muscles would seize up again and i would be in chronic pain. A great physio that im working with now says i have a stretched ligament. That the joint has to much play and that i have to strengthen the joint so that it does not allow the bone to keep shifting out of place. however today ive been getting some tingling down my left arm, very slight tingling. The physio says the disk has been irritated from the joint moving around so much above it.
Im in constant pain when my neck spasms up. Has anyone else experianced a similiar thing? I cant get rid of the pain sometimes and im scared my neck is going to continue to get worse? will this disk ever heal? I cant quite figure out whats going on. ive been put in a neck brace to supprot it, as the physio believes it is a stability problem. but the symptoms are just soo erratic it gets sore for no reason and the tingling is really scaring me.
