Could it be a false negative?

Me and my husband have been trying to get pregnant and we had sex the whole time i was ovulating and now my brests have been sore, ive been nausious, and tired by barely doing anything. And now its been about two weeks and ive started spotting. My period isnt suppose to come for about a week. I just took a pregnancy test but it said negative. Could this be a fasle negative. Could i be pregnant??
