:? I have severe pain in the top portion of my stomach that will literally "attack" me at night. Everything that I have read on gallbladder inflammation , etc. has said that the pain will be centered around the right side of my body. This pain is literally, allover my stomach. It seriously feels like I am being split open. I feel so severely bloated that it seems I am going to explode. This pain does not go above the middle of my ribcage, however, I can not get any relief from it whatsoever. The only thing that I can do to relieve it is by taking narcotics that I have left over from having my son six months ago. I guess I should also add that after the birth of my son, in March, I had an IUD (Mirena) inserted , and the pain almost coincides with the placement of that. I am not sure if it just extremely coincidental or not. Please, someone, help me because this goes on about 2-3 times a week and I can't sleep and I am in soo soo much pain!!!
Could it have something serious to do with my gallbladder?!
