for the last month every time i have sex with my husband i get bad stomach cramps. Sometimes they are constant and other times they are off and on. About a month and 1/2 ago i spotted for a week. Just like at the end of a regular period. Where you just bleed a little after you wipe from peeing and a little on the underwear. But not a full blown period just spotting. Help!

I see someone responded that you may be pregnant...is that really true? The other night I got VERY bad cramps fter sex and I got a little worried. It would be too early to tell if I am pregnant but do you think that may be it?

yes it is possible that you are pregnant. When I was pregnant my stomach cramped during and after sex. At first it cramped a lot, but the more we had sex it didn't hurt as bad. Take a pregnancy test.

You could be pregnant however I have had similar symptoms about 6 months ago. Back in May my husband and I were having sex, I got sharp pains and cramping in my side. It was also accompanied with nausea. My husband took me to the ER and they found that I had an ovarian cyst on my right ovary. I would consult your doctor or go to the ER if it happens again. Hope I helped!

I'm having the same thing and it has been for several months now. I know I'm not pregnant because my husband had a vasectomy nearly two years ago. I've also had Endometriosis all my life. I'm scheduled for a surgical consultation with my GYN at the end of the month. I'm suspecting a cyst of some kind. My sister had the same issue about a year ago and that's what it turned out to be.

hi there. i really dont think you are pregnant. i have had a very similar thing in the past with the pain and spotting. do you have sex very often? i deffinately wasnt pregnant but think i was just having intercourse too often. like too may times per day. i think it can affect your cervix. hope your ok now :-)

I have had similar problems both before I ever got pregnant and even worse so since having my son. Oddly enough, it seemed to stop while I was pregnant, unlike what another post-er had suggested. I talked to my OB/GYN about it and was told that cramping and spotting like that can occur after sex if the cervix is being pushed on / rubbed on too much during intercourse. He said that it is common, and not to worry, but to try different positions. I think, however, that if you are having neasea along with it, you should go to the doc because it may be a sign of ovarian cysts.

First things first, TAKE A PREGNANCY TEST! I've had no symptoms, except being tired all the time and the only thing that made me think something was going on was in the begining, 3-4 weeks preg, I had gnarley cramps after sex and back aches. I too suffered from ovarien cysts prior to conceiving, but in my case the pain was usually one one side. Take a pregnancy test and go see a doc, regardless of the results. Good luck!

You can get cramps after orgasm or after intercourse for a few reasons

1. If you have a tilted uterus (1 in 4 people have this) it means that you are more suseptable to feeling pain with deep penetration due to its position. My boyfriend is below average in size, yet it still hurts to go deep

2. Endometriosis in the Cul de Sac region. The cul de sac in the area between your cervix and your bowel that lies next to it. I had endo there and everytime my cervix was touched I could feel pain there

3. Ovarian cycts are a very common cause of cramping. Having an orgasm or having deep penetration will often trigger pains in the cervix and the ovaries down the right or left side of your pelvic region and down your thighs. It is a radiating pain, that can feel like a dull ache or a stabbing pain

True_to_life...I hope you receive replies, as you posted a while ago, and I'd love to hear what else you know, (or anyone else if they could help...) With any one of your reasons for getting cramps after orgasm or after intercourse, could any of these reasons apply to the fact that for the past several months, during my period...the first couple of days...my cramps have been horribly painful? I don't remember them being like that ever, up until maybe 6 or 7 months ago...a couple of times, including this week, I've had sex and immediately after through now (a couple days after), I've been experiencing mild mild cramping. Spotting occurred right after for a few hours. I've been told I have a mild mild case of HPV too that hopefully will disappear with time, and I'm wondering if that could have developed into something else, such as what you mentioned as reasons.
