I am writing an essay on Crohn's Disease for my high school. Because of this, I am researching all the difficulties that people with Crohn's Disease might have. Please tell me, is heartburn one of the symptoms that can strike someone with Crohn's Disease? I am hoping for some answers. Thanks.

Crohn's disease can affect any part of the digestive system, from the mouth all the way to the bowels and anus. As such, heartburn is indeed something that can happen as a symptom of crohn's disease, although not every person who suffers from crohn's disease is affected by heartburn. There are other symptoms that are more common. Besides, heartburn frequently occurs in people who do not have crohn's disease, so I would definitely not list it as a symptom in your paper.
