Problems with cyst

Pain in the nutts I had a vasectomy when I was 30 years old. Almost immediately I noticed lumps around both testicles. Went to my gp and was told he feels many cyst so was told to see a urologist. The urologist sent me for an ultrasound and that showed many cyst 100s. The urologist said because there were so many and becoming painful the I should have surgury to have them removed. A couple weeks later I did. The first few days I was In a lot of pain but everyday it did get better. I went back to work 6 weeks later ans all was great. About 6 months later I noticed the cyst were coming back. Within a year the pain was back too. I went back to the urologist and he said the cyst were real bad around my epedidamas and he said that between the cyst and scarr tissue the I needed a epididectomy (bi-lateral) . He'd that done and again a lot of pain for the first week but soon I recovered again. Well now it is ten years later the cysts are back with a vengeance. And now the urologist ( different one ) say the only way I'll get relief is have both testicles removed. This is the 3 rd doctor I have seen for my second and third opinion. Has anyone else have to go through such a drastic measure to be pain free. I am supposed to get surgury within the next few weeks for testicle removal.

i had an epidectoy after i was told by a specialist that my body was attacking itself. After the  operation the pain i had before was no less and the specialist concluded that there had been nerve damage aswell from the original vasectomy. The only option offered was pain relief injections into the site. I manage the pain by reduced activity and being careful but the constant dull ache is still there in the back ground. I have since learnt that there is a high chance of atrophy and i may loose the testicle anyway.

in summary i cant see that any surgical intervention is going to cure the problem but rather just swap one problem for another.

i would suggest finiding out the side effect of the operation as this may be worse than wot you already suffer
