I had my period march 4th and it stopped march 9th.March 30th I started spotting and it did not stop till the 6th of April.Just the wednesday that had passed I woke up a few times during the night in pain starting from my pelvic area to my belly button. The pain has not gone away since then.I took 2 pregnancy test because I thought I was pregnant and both were negative so I went to the hospital today. The dr was feeling around my tummy and pelvic area and I cried alot when he was touching the pelvic area because it hurt so much. The he got me to roll over and put his finger in my butt hole to feel around. It did not hurt but it was burning. He said he did not feel anything and that I might have a cyst and that I need to make an appointment for an ultrasound. The nurse was going to try to make an appointment right there but the ultrasound person was not in so she left a note for them and she told me that I will most likely be able to get one done.Does anyone know if a cyst can cause so much pain then please let me know. Can it also cause you breast's to be sore? How can I tell if I have a cyst?
Cysts can be very very painful at times, especially if they twist or rupture. More so they can cause pregnancy symptoms and sometimes even false positives. The only real way to determine if you have a cyst is to do an ultrasound.
