Ok, I'm a 16 old boy, but I don't think I'm at the right stage of puberty. My voice has deepened somewhat and I have some body hair, but I still have a really boyish figure and stick arms. I'm not too actuive and don't eat the healthist, could that have something to do with it?

Also, I have something that has gotten really embarrasing. When I was 13, these small lumps formed behind my nipples. I saw the doctor who said that it would go away in a few months. It's been three years, the lump is gone, but my nipple is still really soft and puffy now, kind of like a bubble. How do I get rid of this because I feel really embarassed very time I got swimming or something like that.
H honey: I just found this website for you it is VERY helpful, and will put your mind at ease. It was VERY informational for me too - as a mother of 14 and 16 year old boys.

Your chest issue sounds totally normal. So I will mention this too you, try and start lifting small amounts of weights - so that you can build up the chest muscles. And when you are supposed too go to the pool or be shirtless - and you know that this will be happening, get a tensor bandage and lightly wrap your chest with it. So wrap it around your chest and under your arms, around your back and over the front again. DO NOT do it tight OK? PROMISE!!!!?!! Just a slight amount of pressure will "flatten" your chest for a little while - just like women wear a girdle, bra etc. Same idea.

So from this website, you are TOTALLY on track, and everything sounds just fine. Good luck hon.

I have lumps and puffy nipples. I have had it for about a year and I get embarrassed in the school locker room and swimming. What do I do?

this is normal and it is due to your glands in the background working overtime and that makes your nipples look swollen. everything is fine and it is depending on how you were made the amount of time it takes to go away. but it will always go away in the end.   :)   keep in there buddy!!!

Okay I'm a 13 year old boy. I've been having some troubles lookin for help on this issue and it's really embarrassing because I go to school and hanging out with my friend and they ask me let's see your stomach and I say no because I'm afraid thell go higher and see my nipples. My nipples are like extreamly pushed out it's weird it's like a squishy and my doctor said it's going to go away but it's been almost 2 years. I'm worried because my girlfriend wants to lay her head or her hand on my chest and she could feel my nipples and the extra tissues under my nipples and she could be grossed out. Could you please message me on how to fix it and I'll send you pictures if you don't understands. I can't get surgery because my mom doesn't have enough money I just really want a long lasting solution.
