Hey there everyone. I have a new diagnose unfortunately, and the results came just now, I just saw an e - mail. I was thinking - I am not going to share this with anyone, but I think that you can really help me deal with this new situation and that I should seek for help before it is too late. Now, it is not late because I just found out about this issue.

So, here is the story - I am diagnosed with aggravated depression and having abnormally high luteinizing hormone level. What this means and what I should do?

First time when I heard about this type of depression was when my mom was diagnosed with it. Until then, I didn't know what kind of depression this was. So, you really should know the definition of this type of depression. Agitated depression is a major depressive disorder with restlessness and motor excitement. Agitated depression was once called melancholia agitata as well, but I think that doctors don't use this form that often. It is now also known as mixed mania. Together with this goes that problem - having abnormally high luteinizing hormone levels. At least, in my mom's case. Tell me, do you use some pills?

It is just one of the types of depression. All of these types are more or less the same, they differ only in small things. Since you are already diagnosed with this, then you already know what does it mean and how does it feel like.

Well, high luteinizing hormone levels can be the cause of your depression, if you were already somehow prone to being depressed (being unhappy with your life and similar). If you want to do something about it, I would recommend two things to you: first is to talk to a psychologist, and the second is to avoid taking any pills or tablets.

Hello Mrs sick and tired, how are you doing?

I am not sure what the proper treatment would be for the high levels of luteinizing hormone, I mean, I don't know about medications but I do know about treating this in a natural way. You see, I know that exercising can really help in lowering your high luteinizing hormone level. I also know that omega acids can help in lowering these hormone levels as well. As you probably know already, omega acids can be found in most of fish types so eating fish food is very healthy and very good for you.

Exercising doesn't just help with lowering the levels of luteinizing hormone, it actually directly helps with treating anxiety and depression. We have a saying here that goes like this: In healthy body there is a healthy mind. This makes a lot of sense if you think about it.

So if you ask me, exercising on a daily basis should be a good start for you. Along with exercising, you need to make a good diet for yourself and you should also start seeing a psychologist, I think that if you follow all of these steps, you will certainly get better eventually.

Hey there guys.

Thank you! I am pretty much OK, I don't notice anything different, I don't see any difference in my behavior at all. I believed that something is going to change but I am pretty much the same. Sometimes I am a little bit more stressed than usual but nothing that I can notice and also no one from my family noticed this as well.

So, generally I am fine and I did some research about this as well. I also talked to my doctor and he told me that I won't experience some different symptoms. Is that true?

Sure that you can do some exercises, sure that you can exercise because it is generally good for you, but I am really not sure how this can help you to lower your very high luteinizing hormone levels. But with that exercise you should find a way to use some pills that your doctor is going to prescribe you, because I am sure that your doctor will tell you what is the best for you to use. So if you think a little bit, you will see that good exercise program, combined with pills that you need to fight your depression and some healthy food will do a lot of job about your depression. Good luck!
