Hello I have been suffering with dizziness/ ear pressure feeling almost drunk when trying to get around. I have been diagnosed with vistibular migraine, I take 30mg Amatriplin (can't spell it) and still I feel the same. I suffer no pain and I am not aware I'm even having a migraine so I'm just living with this. This is my 3rd episode in two years lasting 8-12 weeks each time. How can you hold down a job when suffering with this, I work in a school and I'm so afraid how this is going to effect my future. Can anyone please advise me further.

Are you 100% healed? Do you have relapses? I was diagnosed last week, after a year of symptoms. I ordered the book, too. Not sure how I'll read it though...

This thread makes me feel so much better as I'm not the only one disenchanted with the unknown. Tired of the ENT, physicians, acupuncture, chiro, cranial sacral and balance therapy not changing a thin... persistent headaches, nauseiusness and dizziness...it's not a way to live. My next referral is to see the neorolgist and as I had a bad snowboarding accident 16 years ago it is suggested to see a neck spine specialist. Has anyone had similiar long term cervical spine issues that causes the headaches long term. There is belief to try a low dose migraine med which neurologist has to prescribe. What about herbal meds like migranol Amy opinions on this?

I have been diagnosed with vestibular migraines myself. It has been going on for 3 straight month's. I have started acupuncture last week and it is starting to subside a small amount. In this last year since you wrote this post have you found anythong else that has helped you?

I am asking for my 24 year old daughter who was recently diagnosed with Vestibular Migraines. Thankfully she doesn't get headaches but she seems to have issues when near lights. She often gets the feeling as though the ceiling and walls are closing in on her. She can be sitting still, walking through the mall, watching TV, etc and she has an attack. Anyone experience this? If so, what are you doing and is it helping? She was prescribed Trokendi XR 25 but our insurance company hasn't approved it. Any help is appreciated!
