I'm 16 and I've been masturbating for a while, but I've never figured out if I ever had an orgasm. Usually it gets to a point where everything feels so intense, my head kinda lifts off the bed, I feel like I have to close my eyes, my legs start shaking and involuntarily close down on my hand. If I try to keep going after that, it feels weird since my legs feel all shaky and weak. I always used to think you would scream/moan and arch your back and stuff if you were orgasming but I've never done any of that.

You are having an orgasm. Certain things will or may not happen that you expect because everyone orgasms in a different way. Mine is similar to yours.

Orgasms are different for everyone. Orgasms usually consist of:
- Your back involuntarily arching.
- Your eyes squeezing shut.
- Your toes curling.
- Your thighs shaking/quivering.
- An overwhelming sense of just flatout pleasure.
>> Sometimes I get the feeling of needing to pee just before orgasming, though I'm not sure if that's for everyone. But if you do get this feeling, it's not because you actually need to pee.
>> I feel the need to moan when masturbating, but there's always someone else in the house so I never actually do. I can refrain by biting my lip and breathing hard. Just because you don't moan doesn't mean you're not orgasming, again, it's different for everyone.
>> AFTER orgasm, your clit and your whole vaginal area (if you vaginally penetrated while masturbating) will feel sensitive. It might even feel like your throbbing down there, but it'll go away after a few minutes.

Extra Notes:
- BE SURE to empty your bladder, pee before orgasming.
- I also forgot to add that your stomach may twitch while orgasming.
- If a clear liquid comes out your vagina, that is called "cumming". It's a result of orgasm, and is a vital sign that you actually have orgasmed. But, if you don't cum but feel all the things I listed, you have still orgasmed.
