I’ve been having some kind of discomfort in root canal of one of my front teeth. It mostly at night or while bite. And it is not constant, so I can even guess that causes it. I did an x ray…but there is nothing unusual shown. What could be the reason for this discomfort?
Root canal pain/discomfort is a symptom of tooth decay and if it is not treated will result in rotten teeth. It sounds strange to me that there was nothing on x ray. Root canal pain usually originates from either a cracked tooth or a deep cavity and these conditions allow bacteria to infect the pulp of a tooth and the pulp is considered the lifeline of a tooth, as it contains the blood vessels, nerves, and connective tissue inside a tooth.
