I have had an issue off and on of what feels like my Adams apple is suddenly displaced. I know that sounds weird, but it's the best way I have to describe it. It happens seemingly randomly and suddenly, with extreme pain and the inability to swallow because it's so painful. Then after pushing around on my throat trying to get it to stop, it appears to fix itself for the most part but still feels like it can do it again at any time. This will go on for a few weeks then go away for a long time (months). Then it happens again. I cannot find out anything on what it could be and my doctor thinks I'm crazy
Have you had a lump on the side of your neck? I am experiencing this as well after a similar incesent.
