I'm 38 weeks preganant and have been smoking pot on and off to help with my morning sickness, get an apetite, sleeplessness, and back pain. I read in an article that they only drug test the newborn if he shows signs of withdrawal or isn't responding correctly or if the physician thinks you have a questionable lifestyle. I was just wondering if anyone knew what they do in the state of Illinois.

I was wondering the same. I've heard that they don't really do that, but then I heard that they will if the mother seems "out of it" or has tattoos or piercings. I'm still unsure whether or not it's true =/
