Several of my friends have been going on about iridologists and how they can solve all your health problems.... in the blink of an eye, so to speak. Pun intended :). What I was wondering is whether these iridologists have any medical training at all? Or is this simply an expensive form of quackery?
Not by default, no. Of course it is possible that one and the same person can be a medical doctor and an iridologist simultaneously but in principle, iridologists are considered to fall into the realm of complementary and alternative medicine. I don't think much of iridology myself, but everyone's different, right?
