i went into hospital in november 2013to have my gall bladder removed they informed me that i would be going home that evening . i eventually woke up 2 weeks later in intensive care with my daughter at my side they had actually cut the bowelduring the operation,and i also woke up with a colostomy bag i was absolutly devastated. that was not the end of it i thenhad to spend another 8 weeks on a ward due to complications low blood sugars, low iron and calcium, high pottasium and my weight dropped down to 5stone 12. six months later im still struggling to come to terms with whats happened and have got to be re admitted for a revearsal of my colostomy which im not looking forward to if i had my choice again i would never had had it done. i am now making a claim for negligence as they failed to realise thier mistake
