My chiropractor is a distributor of Isagenix and I am trying to decide between joining a gym to get in better shape or try the 30 day program...
It is very expensive for 30 days it costs around 300 dollars... that's my rent! Can anyone give me advise or is anyone willing to let me try the progrqam for free?

First of all, it is impossible for a body to be "acidic".

If Isagenix works for you, then great. However, to anyone thinking about starting it, I have a few words of advice:

1) Isagenix is an MLM business. Recall some experiences with other MLMs.

2) The weight loss aspect not based on science. Yes there are a few "doctors" that support it, but please read some real weight loss studies before signing up.

3) Anecdotally, I can tell you that it made me feel the worst I've ever felt outside of getting food poisoning.

4) There is no hard evidence whatsoever that "cleansing" ever did anyone any good.

5) If you sign up, be prepared to get barraged with other non-truths, like "microwaves zap nutrients" and "all processed foods are bad". WTF is isagenix if not processed food?

In short, Isagenix is barking up the wrong tree. Find yourself a real weight loss program like Weight Watchers.

OMG it amazes me on the people that don't do their research. I have been on Isagenix for a year and it works. The reason the cleanse for life taste's horrible is because your body is very acidic. Once you cleanse your body enough it won't taste so gross. I have lost over 30 lbs and I feel awesome. So many people have their head in the clouds. I am a holistic practitioner and the ingredients in Isagenix are the best you can get. So instead of putting it down why not do some research on alternative health. And also people have been cleansing for thousands of years its something that is not new. Maybe its new to the western population but its been around for ever. I do find Isagenix expensive but it sure works like a hot damn

Seriously guys, this is my first day on Isagenix and indeed I do feel hungry, it's to be expected. We paid nearly a 100 bux yesterday for the stuff so you bet I'm gonna do my best to follow it through the entire 9 days.
Looking at the nutrition label on the chocolate snacks yesterday, I decided I wasn't wasting money on something that didn't have a propriety blend specifically from Isagenix to make it anything special. Rather, it consisted of a few extra vitamins with 25 calories, roughly 4 carbs, 3g sugar, 1g fiber & 2g protein. TWO GRAMS of protein? How is that supposed to keep me full? Seemed like it was bordering on the "empty calorie" line.
Also, to those that claim they have more energy than expected (not verbatim, but you know): WHY would they have to sell natural energy pills if the people on the program are going to feel energetic all the time? Because you're not going to have ample amounts of energy all the time! Duh. I figured that out the SECOND she offered it. To save money we decided I could live with less than optimal energy for the next two days along with the last two days of the program.
I wasn't suckered into anything. I did my swift research as I was there talking with the lady and read the labels. I could figure out for myself if it was worth taking - because I have a brain & I used it =) Anyway.
Of course marketers are going to find ways to increase the gross selling unnecessary add-ons (like the energy pills & multi's in liquid form). I concluded the cleanse was a necessary staple hence it's a "cleansing" diet. Also, I will continue taking my current multi. The shake powder, I was told, could probably be substituted with a Slim Fast or other appropriate RTD meal replacement shake or bar, but since I was running low on my current protein powder I decided to give the chocolate kind a whirl.
Unless the maker of the powder uses instantized technology, I don't expect this brand to be any different than the other guys. I'm sure I'll see a few clumps in the mix. I'm kind of a weirdo this way, but I love almost all brands of what others label "nasty-tasting" protein powders. I'm sure tons of people will claim Isagenix brand powders are nasty, but I don't care what it tastes like if it works for me. I liked that fact the powder has 23g protein, 7g fiber and 231 calories. Now THAT could satiate a person, eh?
Well, wish me luck folks. I'm hungrier than ALL heck, but I have to try at least =)

I tried isaginix and it wasn't very effective. I have personally found supplements rich in alfalfa or wheatgrass to have worked much better in weight loss.

Look, there are people who are going to have great experiences with the products, and those that have a bad experience with the products. Obviously, if you have a great experience you will want to share it with others, and if not, you are going to tell other people about that too.

I am a software developer, so my thinking tends to be on the logical, factual side. I have listened to the science behind the products, and it makes a tremendous amount of sense. There is a common misconception happening with the Isagenix products, that it is intended for weight loss. People, the weight loss is a side benefit!!

The whole idea behind Isagenix is to do cleansing at a cellular level, removing the toxins, and then providing the body with the proper and complete vitamins, minerals, and enzymes that it needs.

Yes, I have been using the products for 3 months now, and I could not be happier with the results! But, I understand that there are also some people who will not have a positive experience. THAT'S LIFE!

We are all individual and the only way to know if it will work for you is to give it an honest and fair try!

I have lost 30 pounds over 2 and a half months. I also started to work out everyday, first walking short distances and gradually working my cardio up to a boot camp level! I was TOTALLY out of shape and hadn't exercised in years.. I love junk food and was an emotional eater. I have a shake for breakfast and dinner, and consume 500-1000 calories per day. I am a vegetarian too so I eat tofu instead of meat. Also I snack on the 100 calorie bags of oreos, ritz, doritos etc so that I don't get cravings. If you stick with the program, and commit long term you will definitely get the weight loss results you want.

For those of you that say isagenix don't work it only states you are selling a different product then isagenix. how can vitamins not work for you. Shakes are made of natural ingredients cleanse your body of impurities.

Any change in diet will give you side effects. If you are used to eating 2500 calories a day, even if you cut back to a normal 1500 calories or so, you would feel fatigued. That is NORMAL. Isagenix is not a diet. It is a cleanse and I thnk so many of you are getting the wrong impression. You don't have to be overweight to use this. It is meant to cleanse harmful toxins out of your body. Because the toxins are sometimes stored in fat cells, those are broken down and flushed out... weight loss is the perk. It is not what Isagenix is all about. It has changed so many people's lives, hard to fight the facts. One person mentioned that you can't survive on 160 calories a day. I don't know what program you are on, but Isagenix recommends you eat a 400-600 calorie meal, so if you are eating 160 calories that is probablly why you are starving.. For the people who have found that this doesn't work... maybe you didn't drink enough water to get it all flushed out of your system.. you should drink AT LEAST 8 - 8oz glasses of water. For best results drink half your weight in ounces of water.... It works. I lost 28 pounds on the 9 day cleanse. I hit a weight loss blocker and just couldn't get it off. It broke down all the harmful toxins in my body and eliminated them... Just try it.. If you want to feel better and lose weight, at least try it. It isn't cheap, but when it works, is totally worth what you pay for it!

Just a couple of comments to all the negative responses:

1. If you felt miserable during the cleanse days - its because your body is full of toxins from all the pesticides and perservaties you eat from non-organic foods. Also, look in your mouth - probably have mercury fillings.

2. The shakes are nutrionally sound - don't tast great? Again, the program is designed to detox you from sugar addiction. After 9 days - I thought 1 cookie was extremely sweet.

3. Nothing is perfect - Weight Watchers - frozen - full of salt and not enough protein, so the carbs leaving you craving more.

4. I had GERD and after being on the program for 9 days - it was totally gone! As I incorporated various foods back into my diet - I saw what was causing the GERD.

5. After exercising for 2 years and only losing 10lbs (and gaining if I missed exercising for a week!), I lost 30lbs in 3 months and have maintained the weight for 1 year by doing shake/meal/meal and cleansing two times a month. I don't think that unreasonable.

Lastly, my boss (whom I coach) - has now lost 87lbs in 7months. His cholesterol dropped 70 points and he is down 6 pant sizes. The plan has changed the way he views food and is helping him making better food choices and allows him to have what he wants on special occasions with over splurging.

The plan is expensive, I agree. But it has made a tremendous difference in my view of food and the contrast of how I feel when I eat "dirty" food vs. organic whole foods.

I hope this helps someone out there. :-D

I am a 39 year old female who is currently 7 days into the 9 day clense. I feel great and very satified my the results so far! I have lost 12 pounds as of today, day 7, and am headed into my last 2 days (cleanse days) You do NOT starve yourself, you drink 2 meal shakes and eat a meal (400-600 calories) each day that is not a cleanse day.. on the cleanse days you drink the Juice you get with the program and lots and lots of water!! If you feel hungry during these cleanse days, you can eat real food to help you.. (an apple, a hard boiled egg, a small salad, almonds). I have energy and feel great! I am into clothes I have not been able to wear in 2 years.. It was not a waste of money! I WILL continue to use these products! I love them!!! :-)
