I see I am a little late with this response, I think like ALL similar products it depends on you as to if it works for you. (IE your metabolism and such.) However, here is my personal story. I did this for several months. The first month I did loose weight. However, I felt like c**p and had no energy. You are supposed to do this "life long" too... Which for me wasn't gonna work. I am only a 2000 calorie a day person (at most) anyway, but cutting that in half didn't make me happy. Plus I didn't like the taste of anything, it was just nasty in my opinion.

Although if you are having problems with motivation and energy I would recommend the Ionic Supreme. It is the nastiest tasting stuff, but you only have to take a little bit of it and it does work. (Tastes like a molasses mixture.)

Anyway, in the long run I spend $300 a month for 7 months, lost 8 pounds, and felt like I was starving most of the time... I was only 20 pounds over my ideal weight to begin with, so perhaps I hit one of those hard spots. *shrug

I would still say don't waste your money, join curves and make yourself go... It works much better... :-)

I have been on the Isagenix program since July and have lost 25lbs. I have seen a lot of fad diets and this seems to be healthy. I have lost my "sweet tooth" and cravings for soft drinks, mainly I drank too many Dr Peppers. Last week as a reward I was going to have one Dr Pepper and I took one drink and then poured the rest out. The sweet taste of it was terrible to me and that has always been one of my favorite soft drinks. I do not feel like I am on a diet as I am just eating right now. The cleanse is the hardest part of the program and sometimes I will do what they call a modified cleanse so I may eat a small salad or some fresh veggies. Also exercise is a very important part of losing and maintaining weight lose. I am now up at 5:30AM each day for my morning 30-45 minute walk and then again in the late evening unless it is too hot still (Texas can be hot even at night). My mother (79), sister, brother-in-law, and neice are all on it and feel good about it also. It did take me a couple of weeks of fighting cravings, but once I got over that I feel much, much better now. As of 7/1/09 I weighed 285lbs and 5'11" (obese). As of 8/17/09 I weigh 260lbs and still more to go. My goal is to get down to 180lbs as I was 25 years ago and I believe it will happen. I also hope I will be taken off ot High BP and cholesterol meds. Maybe Isagenix isn't for everyone and it is quite expensive, but I can say it has been well worth the investment to boost my weight loss. If nothing else I eat healthy now and don't miss the junk food a bit. I eat a meal at a restaurant now and I actually have to get a to go box, something I have never done. The main part of losing weight is setting your mind to eat and NO CHEATING and lots of exercise as there is no such thing as a miracle diet. Isagenix has helped me achieve this. Best of luck to anyone trying to lose weight and having a hard time, believe me I now how you feel.

Ok so I read so many THIS SUCKS comments....but i really wonder if they ever tried it. My dad was on it. lost 100 lbs and is off all his heart medication. My mom did it just a shake a day with the cleanse and vitamins and lost the 5-10 lbs she could never get off and had great energy. My brother did it just one shake a day and lost 20 lbs in the 1st month with exersice. I just had a baby and have 45 lbs to lose and just got on it and already lost 5 lbs in 3-4 days and i feel AMAZING my energy is incredible and its because isagenix is not for weight loss but just the most healthy natural things you can ever ever put in your body. so YA you lose weight but thats not what its for. its simply being healthy.

It's not easy to stay on at first - the "prep days" they recommended did help. I haven't done Isagenix in over 2 years but was looking up info tonight because I want to do it again. It works; it's just I lost my job back then and didn't continue because it's pricey. However, no pricier than all the junk I eat at lunch daily at work. I'm a woman, middle aged, who's tried EVERYTHING. Heck yes, I was hungry at first, but it did work and my skin changed amazingly to a much finer, softer texture. I ended up feeling great. And I have high bp, borderline diabetes, bad hypoglycemic episodes, etc. I'm a mess and can't wait to try this again. Seriously, in my case a couple of years ago, my bp came down 40pts and my dr was so pleased. I have 70 lbs to lose and this seemed to be a great start. I think I lost about 12 lbs in 9 days back then. Ready to do it again! For me and my financial situation, I just wish it wasn't so expensive. I know it replaces bad crud we eat, blah, blah, but it's easier to afford a burger at lunch one day than have the money ahead of time to purchase products like this for the long haul. I've just gotta plan better! ;-) I don't want to sell anyone anything - I just want people to know it can work. Also, I'm eager to lose weight not only because of health but because I'm looking for another job and have frankly been told by more than one HR person (one a friend, one a colleague) that people in their 40s like me that are overweight don't stand a chance (especially here in L.A,) of finding a job. The cruel truth. Let's see how it goes!

I started this 9 day cleanse last week and am on my last day. I have followed this program to a T, I have not cheated, I have not done anything other than what the emails, instruction sheets have told me, and have plenty of water daily. I am down 2 pounds. I haven't measured myself yet, and do feel I have lost some inches. I am not happy with my results, and don't feel 'wonderful' like everyone claims you are to. I don't think the products taste all that great, but you get used to them. I am not sure why I have only lost that amount, and my coach is stumped as well. I ate fairly healthy to begin with, I exercise regularly, I just have about 10 pounds or so to lose. I am not sure what to think of it all and am trying to find out why it could possibly have not really worked all that well for me. My sister did it along with me, and her results aren't that much different, I think she is down about 5 pounds. I say that if anyone out there can afford it and is willing to stick with the strict schedule, go for it and hopefully you will see better results than me.

You stated you don't sell it, you give it away. I call your bluff. Why don't you give it to me to try for free in that case? I'm sure the person who started this post to begin with would like a free sample, too.

On day 4 of the 9 day cleanse. I have already lost 7 pounds!!!! And feel great. I was a little skeptical at first and decided to try the 9 day first before buying the 30 day. I have had great results and will try the 30 day next. My start weight was 147 and already at 140. I travel a lot with work and find the shakes are very easy and I think they taste good and are very filling. The cleanse days were a little harder, I didn't think the cleanse shakes tasted that good but still not bad and I wasn't hungry at all until the night of the last day.

The diet also has me looking a lot closer at what I eat. On shake days you can eat one meal 400 - 600 calories along with two shakes. I went to a popular chain restaurant for dinner and when I looked online at the nutrition guide I couldn't find a single thing on the menu that was until 1100 calories.... One of their salads was over 1200 calories!!!

I still have 6 days to go.... Wish me luck :-)

I used it for 3 months. Yes it is a MLM but I'm not into selling so I never took part in that even though I was constantly encouraged to - "to bring down my cost for myself". It will run you at least $300.00 a month plus your regular food. Chicken, beef etc and vegetables etc. So it's not cheap! Yes I lost 57 Lbs initially. But it is very hard to stick to. Especially the cleanse days when you just drink their cleanse juice 4 times a day and can have a couple of snacks - that they make of course. 2 days with no food is tough. I couldn't do it after a month, so instead I ate a salad on those days and drank the cleanse. When I stopped doing it I gained all the weight back ! Yes I always felt hungary ! They tell you to exercise for 20 min a day well I was to hungry for that. But the cost is why these salespeople are trying to tell you it works so they won't have to pay for their supply ! I imagine it works for some, but not all.

Matthew,

First of all, on what basis do you make this statement about Isagenix not working? I am one of hundreds of thousands of people that it HAS worked for, and to be very honest, if this program DOESN'T work for someone it's because they didn't follow the program correctly. I've been using Isagenix ofr 3 years. Released 60 pounds within 7 months and I have never felt better in all my life. I am very PROUD of the work that our Founder and Formulator has put into these products. It is REAL FOOD and the BEST that you can give to your body. He uses only the very BEST herbs and minerals and vitamins; and since he formulated top quality vitamins for over 25 years that were sent to over 600 vitamin stores all across North America....he knows his work. He is a Master Formulator and has been tagged as the "Mineral Man" because of his research and use of organic minerals. I don't know what you did during your program Matthew, but I do know this....if you only spent $90. then you did not have a complete program. I can assure you that it DOES work and I've seen miracle happen through these products. And taking fiber tablets is NOT the answer. Your body needs complete and healthy nutrition and Isagenix provides that.

I just started on the 30 day program.  Today is day 8, my first weight and measurement day.  I lost 8.4 pounds and 12+ inches in 8 days.

I am a 57 year old female with about 45 lbs. to lose.  I've tried all the diets, Weight watchers, etc. and yo-yo'd.  The first I heard of this program was my sister-in-law who has had fabulous results on it, losing over 40 lbs.  She says she feels the best she has ever felt.  Within just the last few days I am amazed at how my energy level has increased.  I am sleeping better as well.  The only negative comment I have is that I felt a little yucky on my deep-cleanse day, nauseous in the evening.  I haven't started an exercise routine yet, so I anticipate better results when I do. Two co-workers tried the 9 day program and lost abt. 10 pounds each.  There will be nay-sayers about every program.  It's all about whatever works for you.

To "Grandma" who just placed a message....good for you! I too am a Grandma and at 67 I've never felt or looked this good since I was in my 30's! You mentioned that you felt crappy (don't remember if that was the word you used!) during your cleanse day....that's not unusual as you are releasing so many toxins from your body, and sometimes you can feel that way; especially in the beginning. As your body releases more and more toxins, you will not have that "yucky" feeling! Keep up the good work! I am so happy for you. I have been using these products for 3 years and I can assure you that these are the best of the best. We are so blessed to have someone like John Anderson formulating for us; he is world famous! And hang on to your shirt because pretty soon there will be a product that will "turn back the clock" for all of us....at least those of us who cleanse. This is going to be monumental for Isagenix as we will be the only company in the WORLD with this product!

Hugs to you "Grandma"!

Healthy And Leaner :-):-)

it definitely does work.. well, at least for me. i was 145lbs when i started the 9 day cleanse and after i finished i was 133lbs.  that was my goal and it worked.  i would definitely recommend anyone to try the 9 day cleanse.  it doesn't give you bowel movements like you would assume.. it actually just makes you pee alot.

I am about to use these products as I feel it will be a good start to losing weight. I have detoxed before, once basically a bit extreme by not eating and only having herbs/and broth and other times by just eating fruit and vegetables and drinking water and I got all the normal symptoms - bad headaches, feeling nausea, feeling like I had had a big night out in the first 12 hours etc. So for those that are blaming the product maybe you should read a bit on how your body will react when you stop putting processed foods in it. It is natural to have withdrawal symptoms, and they are worse the worse your diet is and it isnt a bad thing it just feels uncomfortable but it doesnt last. And water is very important as well. So good luck to everyone on helping your body improve even if you dont use the product. Another option is to start cutting out processed foods in the week prior and your symptoms will be less intense on any detoxing.
